Pierluigi Terenzi - PI - pierluigi.terenzi(AT)unifi.it

Pierluigi Terenzi is senior lecturer in Medieval history at the University of Florence and holds the National Scientific Qualification for the functions of Associate professor. Scholar of the Istituto italiano per gli studi storici di Napoli in 2009/10, he obtained a PhD in Medieval history at the Universities of Milan and Paris IV-Sorbonne in 2013. He worked as a post-doc at the universities of Naples "Federico II", Padua, and Florence, as well as at the École française de Rome. His research focusses on political, social and economic history of Italian cities in the Middle Ages.

Marco Bellucci - Partner - marco.bellucci(AT)unifi.it

Marco Bellucci is Associate Professor in Accounting at the University of Florence. He holds a PhD with distinction in Business Administration and Management from the University of Pisa. His research interests include corporate social responsibility, stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting, accounting history and third sector organizations. He is a member of the scientific committee of ARCO Action Research for CO-development and of the Yunus Social Business Centre of the University of Florence under the patronage of Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus. He is the author of numerous articles in influential international scientific journals and of two books on sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement and integrated reporting. He is Associate Editor of the international scientific journal Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility.

Alessandro Caprilli - Post-doc - alessandro.caprilli(AT)unifi.it

Alessandro Caprilli is a postdoctoral researcher in Medieval History at the University of Florence. In 2016 he achieved the master degree in Medieval History with a thesis on The mutation of lordship in some statutes of the italian cities of the fourteenth century. In 2021 he obtained a PHD in Medieval History at the University of Parma with a research focused on the Belforti lordship in Volterra during the fourteenth century. His research interest is based on the study of political and social history during the Middle Ages: in particular the main aim of his research concerns the rise of lordship in Italian cities in the fourteenth century.

 

Carmela Nitti - Post-doc - carmela.nitti(AT)unifi.it

Carmela is a research fellow at the Department of Economics of the University of Florence. She has a Master’s degree in Development Economics. Since 2019, she conducted several research activities connected to the Opera Santa Maria del Fiore specifically on its accountability practices both from a contemporary and a historical perspective, namely in the field of accounting history.  Since 2014 she has worked at ARCO research center. Her main research interests are third-sector organizations, corporate social responsibility, social reporting, and social impact assessment.
